I am a web site designer and developer with experience in all aspects of visual media.

I started out as a print assistant in the days of old-fashioned typesetting, working on an old Heidelberg printing machine. I moved on to graphic design and then became a visual illustrator for an advertising agency.

This was before the computer arrived and replaced my drawing board and airbrush.
I completed visual communication studies at Blackburn College of Technology & Design and went on to develop several businesses of my own. These included a Plc that was at the forefront of the premium rate telecommunication boom in the 1980’s.

I have always been involved in visual communication, sales, marketing, and promotions -sometimes for my own businesses and often as a paid consultant. During the initial world wide web boom, in the 1990’s, I was fortunate to work with the development teams of two multi-million pound internet-shopping web sites.

I have also worked as a freelance editor and designer, responsible for all aspects of artwork production, content, design, print management, and editing for several specialist national magazines.

These days, I select clients very carefully - ensuring I have the time to offer a personal service and to develop websites that work.

I run several sites of my own and I am also a published author.

When you hire me to create your web site you will get my entrepreneurial experience for free.
